This medication contains two active ingredients: acetaminophen and
caffeine.Acetaminophen is used to relieve pain and reduce fever.
When taken as directed, acetaminophen is virtually free of side effects.
Rarely, a rash may develop. If this occurs, stop taking the medication and
consult your physician or pharmacist.
Follow directions precisely as directed by your physician or as directed on
the container. Do not take more of this medication than recommended as
liver damage may occur.
To avoid taking an overdose of acetaminophen, check the labels of all
over-the-counter and prescription medications you are taking. Many
non-prescription products contain acetaminophen.
If you are taking this medication daily, do not drink large amounts of
alcoholic beverages. Regular use of large quantities of alcohol can
increase risk of liver damage.
Do not use this medication for longer than three days for the treatment of
fever except on the advice of your physician. Fever that lasts this long
may be due to a medical condition that needs to be checked by a physician.
The maximum daily dose of some medications contains as much caffeine as one
cup of brewed coffee; you may wish to decrease your consumption of
caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea, cola beverages) while taking this
medication to avoid developing nervousness and insomnia.
Store this medication in its original labelled container,tightly closed, in
a dark place and out of the reach of children. Do not allow anyone else to
use this medication.
