Diclofenac is used to reduce inflammation in various rheumatic disorders.

Take this medication exactly as prescribed by your physician. Do not take
more than the prescribed amount. When used for rheumatoid arthritis, it
must be taken regularly to be fully effective. It may take several weeks
before the full effect is achieved in rheumatic conditions.

Take each dose with a full glass of water, while sitting or standing. It
should also be taken at the same time as a meal, a snack, or an antacid if
prescribed, to reduce stomach irritation and diarrhea. Swallow the tablet
whole, don't crush or chew it.

Misoprostol may cause diarrhea in some people early in the course of
treatment. This usually resolves despite continued use. Avoid
magnesium-containing antacids. Aluminum-containing antacids are preferred,
as these do not cause diarrhea. If diarrhea is severe or lasts longer than
a week, contact your physician.

Misoprostol must not be taken by pregnant women. Women of childbearing
potential must use effective contraceptive measures to avoid pregnancy. If
pregnancy is suspected, stop misoprostol immediately and contact your
physician.
