Fluticasone is a steroid that is instilled in the nose to relieve symptoms
of rhinitis (e.g. stuffiness, sneezing, discharge), or to prevent the
regrowth of nasal polyps after they are removed surgically.
Take this medication exactly as directed by your physician. Do not use more
often than prescribed. To do so increases the chance of developing side
effects.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible and then take
the rest of the day's doses at evenly-spaced intervals.
In order to be effective, nasally inhaled fluticasone must be used
regularly. Some relief is usually seen within a few days to 2 weeks.
Before you have any kind of surgery (including dental surgery) or emergency
